DOWNFALL is a hard rocking blue collar band out of Hays, Kansas. Founded in 2009 by musicians from several active well-known Northwest Kansas bands, DOWNFALL has quickly become known for its straight ahead high energy approach to rock & roll in the style of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Van Halen and Guns N Roses. DOWNFALL's song list doesn't stop with classic rock though - you can expect to hear hard rocking tunes from the 90s and 2000s as well. And the band is hard at work putting together its first EP of original music right now.

Allan Penka - Lead Vocals. He's the party starter and band comedian. His freaky Robert-Plant-like vocals let DOWNFALL rip out songs that most bands won't even attempt. Amazingly enough, Allan is probably the band member with the least experience as he spent the last fifteen years before DOWNFALL laying tile and floor covering. If you ask, don't be surprised if he tells you he was laying pipe all those years...

Dave Gray - Guitar, Vocals. When you talk about rock & roll like Guns N Roses, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin, you are talking about guitar rock! Dave is not only capable but he pulls it all off with style. When you see and hear Dave rip out Eruption and then some of his own freaky stuff, you'll know what we mean. In addition, Dave takes over lead vocals for some of the modern rock songs where a rougher voice is needed and sings harmony for Allan throughout the show. With over 20 years experience, Dave is a diverse and active musician that plays in several groups ranging from blues and jazz to coffee house acoustic to full on metal.

Tyler Ganoung - Drums, Vocals. Swagger. Yeah, it's hard to define. It's even harder to see. How the hell he has it and lets everyone know he has it - while sitting behind the drums - is impossible to say. Blame it on charisma and mojo! Although soft-spoken when you talk to him one-on-one, Tyler plays rock with the aggression it needs and lays down beats that would make John Bonham and Tommy Lee proud. And he sings lead and harmony, too - wait until we bring him out from behind the drums... Tyler has been laying down rock beats with bands in Northwest Kansas for over a decade.

Shawn Normandin - Bass. Shawn is a former member of GRYN - a metal band out of Hays, KS that relocated to the Dallas / Fort Worth area and signed a recording contract with Last Beat Records. GRYN put out 2 full length albums and 2 EPs and toured with their friends from the Dallas metal scene Drowning Pool. Shawn brings a helluva lot of experience and a thunderous low end to DOWNFALL that absolutely sets the band apart.
